On today's episode, Liz shares her intimate journey with grief. Liz is a client who has seen John at Redlands Massage Therapy for several years. She discusses her personal tragedy, the immediate effects, and the feelings and emotions in the weeks and months that followed.

In today's episode, John talks about his journey through addiction. He describes how alcohol became addictive to him, through his years in the Army and  his early years as a chef. John talks about the many  relationships his drinking had an effect on and then several miracles that occurred to spur him on to sobriety. 
In this episode, John references a book that the comedian Nikki Glasser has talked about several times, "Quit Drinking Without Willpower" by Alan Carr. 
John also mentions two classic movies, Grosse Pointe Blank, 1997 Directed by George Armitage and Forrest Gump, 1994 Directed by Eric Roth. 
John makes reference several times to "Alcoholics Anonymous - The Big Book'',  which is the basic text of Alcoholics Anonymous.
