Let’s talk about how that happens, who can do it and where to find them. I grew up secretly believing that everything we need to get better is here on the earth. It took me 50 years and A LOT of life experience to find the tools to put in my toolbox to make that happen. Hang out with me as I explain what and who I found and how we do it.

Who was YOUR favorite teacher? Do you remember how they made you feel? How did they make your life better?
Today, John and Lisa Kay talk to Matt Webster - a teacher to teachers and an exceptional human being.
We all mentioned our favorite teachers, John mentioned Ms. Kimmie and Bill Chappel from Beaumont High school and Bob Baldwin at Valley College. LisaKay mentioned Mrs. Groose and Mr Deutcher from El Dorado High School. Matt told us about going to the great Pacific Northwest recently to see his favorite teacher, Dr. Amanda Sue Rudisill, a professor from Cal State San Bernardino.
Good teachers have a passion for what they do and the ability to recognize something in their students that perhaps the student doesn't even see.
Teachers ground us, they can be an anchor or a lifeline. The best teachers are part of our health because they have poured into our lives.
Do something bold today - look up one of your favorite teachers and drop them a note, a letter, an Instant Message - anything and just say thanks- because not only is learning healthy, so is gratitude.
